From October 5, the "red" level of epidemic danger will remain in Ternopil, and instead of Brzezany, the Ternopil region, Kaniv of Cherkasy region will be included. Kaniv has reached the "red" level since the city has the highest incidence rate - 671 cases per 100,000 population, compared to the national level in 123 cases.

The “orange” level of epidemic danger includes 126 administrative units, 15 more than last week, including 12 regional centers - Vinnytsia, Lutsk, Dnipro, Ivano-Frankivsk, Uzhhorod, Lviv, Mykolaiv, Poltava, Sumy, Khmelnytsky, Kharkiv, Chernivtsi.

The ′′ Yellow ′′ level of epidemic danger, according to the chief sanitary doctor, will be set in 274 administrative units, which is 15 more than a week earlier. In particular, it will continue in force in the city of Kyiv.

To ′′green′′ level of epidemic danger, 215 administrative units have been activated.

Three cities - Kharkiv, Poltava, and Sumy - are the most threatening weekly dynamics - all of them are at the ′′ orange ′′ level. The total rise in new cases detected week-to-week in these three cities is more than 40 % of the nation's weekly growth.

A significant threat to the rise of the disease is also demonstrated by Vinnytsia, Lutsk, Chernivtsi, Rivne, Chernihiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Cherkasy, as well as the Slavic district of Donetsk region.
