How to get from Boryspil Airport KBP to Kyiv & how much does it cost?

Train "Kyiv Boryspil Express"

Route: "Kyiv-Passenger" (Metro "Vokzalna") → " Vydubychi " (metro "Vydubychi") → "Darnytsia" → "Boryspil airport" and in the opposite direction. You can get off and on at any station.


Fare: 80 UAH for an adult passenger. There is a discount for children. You can purchase the ticket from vending machines at stations with a credit card, ticket offices for cash, or on the train from a conductor with a credit card.

Travel time is 40 minutes from the starting point, and it may differ by 1-4 minutes up or down, depending on the flight.

BUS (Skybus)

During the quarantine and lockdown, Skybus buses to Boryspil airport do not have a clear timetable.


Skybus stops:

Arrival and departure of buses under the flyover on the ground floor.

  • Boryspil airport, terminal D.

  • Metro station "Kharkivska" (Kyiv).

  • Kyiv-Pasazhyrskyi railway station. (connection to Metro Station "Vokzalna")

  • Yuzhny (South) Central Railway Station, Kyiv.

The fare for the full route is 100 UAH, between the metro station "Kharkovskaya" and Boryspil airport - 60 UAH.


Schedule: There is no exact schedule during quarantine and lockdown. The first bus leaves from the Kyiv-Passenger railway station at 06:30, the last one - at 23:30. A few hours before departure, check the approximate time of departure of the Skybus with the dispatcher by phone +380 95 431 0717. The dispatcher works until 20:00.



Taxi services

To travel from Boryspil airport to Kyiv city, you can use any taxi service, including Uber, Bolt, Uklon. The car will take you from Terminal D under the flyover on the ground floor.


The average fare is $15 (400 UAH) from Boryspil to the city centre and is available in the mentioned taxi services mobile applications. During rush hours, the cost can substantially increase compared to standard time.
