About

Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast is in western Ukraine. Its administrative centre is the city of Ivano-Frankivsk. As is the case with most other oblasts of Ukraine this region has the same name as its administrative centre – which was renamed by the Soviet Ukrainian authorities after the Ukrainian writer Ivan Franko on November 9, 1962. Population: 1,368,097 (2020 est.).

Outbreak. More than 320 infected per 100,000 of the population for 14 days. Bed occupancy is over 75% during, excluding child and maternity wards.


It is prohibited :

  • the work of catering establishments, except for targeted delivery and take-away orders;

  • work of educational institutions in which less than 100% of employees are fully vaccinated;

  • operation of shopping and entertainment centres and other entertainment establishments, cinemas, theatres, and the like;

  • the work of educational institutions, except for kindergartens and primary schools;

  • operation of non-food markets and shops, gyms, swimming pools and fitness centres,

  • holding mass events;

  • work of cultural institutions.

  • These restrictions will not apply if 100% of employees (organizers) and visitors (participants) of these institutions (events) are fully immunized and have a green COVID certificate, a negative PCR test or a rapid antigen test ( valid 72 hours) or a certificate of recovery.
